ATTENTION - Effective March 1, 2008

The following addendum is being added to our adoption application:

A $50 deposit is required at the time of the home visit. This deposit will be applied toward your adoption fee at time of placement. If after the homevisit you choose not to adopt a Greyhound, the money will be considered a donation & will be applied to our General Fund. If your application is denied, the deposit will be returned to you.

This policy change does not affect currently approved homes, only new applicants.

Our volunteers service the area of Louisville, Lexington, Southern Indiana and Northern Kentucky. Our mission is to place Greyhounds into loving homes that will benefit both the Greyhound and the pet adopter.

We are continually getting new dogs into our program and have a number of dogs waiting to come into our program. Dogs are not immediately listed on the website and if you are interested in adoption we encourage you to start the adoption process by filling out the online application.
