REGISTRATION DIRECTIONS:

Please read the following before you continue to registration:

1. I understand that the Greyhound Festival of the Bluegrass (ie: the Festival) is a fundraiser for Shamrock Greyhound Placement. In addition to the fun I will have I will also participate in the fundraising opportunities offered to me. I plan to spend lots of money.

2. I understand that this is the inaugural event and problems will arise. I will smile, be happy and will not make problems worse by complaining. Shamrock Greyhound Placement is a volunteer organization and they are doing their best. They are also learning how to better plan the 2007 event.

3. I have read the Rules & Regulations & will follow all rules as they are described.

4. I have read the event schedule (subject to change) and plan on attending all events & participating. This is a 3 day event and fundraisers will be held all 3 days.

5. I understand that the Registration Packet is distributed as one per family. These contain many free gifts for the attendees, so production is limited.

6. If you plan on staying at the hotel, you have contacted the Holiday Inn Hurstbourne for a room. Reduced rate rooms are available if you tell them you are attending the Greyhound Festival

7. If you decide to cancel (for any reason) your registration will be considered a donation. Only those attending the Festival will receive their Registration Packet.

8. I will pickup after my dog AT ALL TIMES. If I see someone did not - I will pick it up.

9. I will only bring the number of Greyhounds I can handle to the Festival. I will also consider the age/health of my dog when considering if he/she can handle the stress of the weekend event.

10. No flexi-leads are allowed to be used during the Festival. I will not tie my Greyhound to any stationary object.

11. This is a Greyhound only event. This rule is purely for safety and not about discriminating against other dogs.

12. I will be considerate, kind and friendly to everyone around me - human & canine.

13. Email updates will be sent to me prior to the event. If I change my email between now & July 14th I will send the updated address to the Shamrock Greyhounds.

14. I understand that Shamrock Greyhound Placement & the Holiday Inn Hurstbourne are not responsible for any mishaps, accidents, misdemeanors, whatever etc. to guests - human & canine. I will take full responsibility for any that do occur, but will do my best to prevent their occurrence by being vigilant, smart and sensible.

REGISTRATION:

Registration is $50 per person for adults & $35 for children under 12. Please note that the registration fee covers your meals for the weekend and the fee barely covers the cost of everything for the Festival.

2. check/money order - please complete the online registration form. Print the confirmation email you receive. Send it with your payment via snail mail to: Shamrock Greyhound Placement, PO Box 991216, Louisville, KY 40269. Payments must be received within 7 days of registration or your registration form will be voided.

Once your registration & payment are received & processed, you will receive an email confirming your reservation.

Prior to the event, email updates will be sent to attendees. Please notify us if you change your email address prior to July 14th.

Fill out the information for each Greyhound you will be bringing to the Festival. Please be sure you can handle the number of Greyhounds you bring and well as provide for their needs. All attending Greyhounds MUST be current on shots. Please be able to provide proof if needed.

DONATIONS:

The Festival will be hosting a Memorial Silent Auction to honor our Greyhound friends who have passed. You can create your own basket and fill it with whatever you would like. Please include a tag with a photo of your hound and brief description of them and/or what they meant to you. Silent Auction tables will be open all weekend.
