Guest Speakers
- The Lexus Project of New York will speak about their legal defense of at-risk Greyhounds.
- Catherine White, D.V.M. will be speaking about Renal Failure. We are going to have a hands-on class to familiarize attendees with infusion equipment.
General registration opens in early April. There is a limit of 200 attendees, so don't delay in registering.
Your registration fee includes your three meals on Saturday and admittance to all our GREYT events.
Greyhounds are welcome to attand - no additional pet fee, but attendence is limited to Greyhounds only.
While your own Greyhound(s) might be considered small dog safe - other Greyhounds might not be. Exceptions may be made UPON REQUEST for other large sight hounds; but, for their safety, not the little guys and gals.
Our event will be held at the Paraquet Springs Conference Center, 395 Paroquet Springs Drive, Shepherdsville, KY.
Reduced hotel rates are available at Sleep Inn & Suites, the pet fee is included in the discount rate. Just make sure you mention "Greyhound Festival of the Bluegrass" when making your reservation to receive your discount.
Greyhound Festival of the Bluegrass is a fundraiser for Shamrock Greyhound Placement - a 501(c)3 non-profit organization dedicated to finding loving homes for retired racing Greyhounds.
