Call Name: Ricky Race Name:R & L’s Ricky Born: 5-3-98 Weight: 66lbs (he is underweight, but we are putting weight on him) Description: Fawn male Ricky was originally adopted through Homes for Greyhounds which is now closed. He was given to our program along with his housemate Frances. He has been in a home for about 5 years. His condition when we received him was shocking. Not only is he under his race weight, his teeth were deplorable. He also has Pannus (an eye condition) that his former adopters did not treat. He could have vision loss, but that is hard to gauge on a dog. He does not have any trouble getting around. After a much needed dental, a trip to the ophthalmologist and a proper diet, Ricky has improved in a very short time. |
